TORN BETWEEN...

Alexandrine Marit is a witch in mortal danger. An evil mage craves the powerful, mysterious talisman that supplies her magic, and the only person who can keep her safe is a dark and dangerous fiend called Xia. With his fierce animosity toward witches, he's hardly the ideal bodyguard. Yet as days turn into nights, she can't deny the white-hot passion between them.

DESIRE AND TEMPTATION

Xia hates witches. They enslave and mercilessly kill his kind. But he's been ordered to protect Alexandrine, who, to his surprise, has a spirit he admires and a body he longs to possess. With the mage and his henchmen closing in, Alexandrine and her protector must trust the passion that can unite them...or risk losing everything to the enemies who can destroy them both.

I absolutely loved the book, but I couldn't stand the ending. It felt like there was WAY more to the story. I hope there is a book following this.

The book was not bad for 2.99, but it holds way to many parallels to her first book. It is almost as if she just substituted names and adjusted the story ever so slightly. I read this book first, one because I knew nothing of the author, and two it was was on sale, but it is not really a stand alone read. It left me wondering about many of the characters and what their points were for being randomly mentioned... i.e. Carson. Since the authors 1st book also went on sale I read it, and I must say though it was a better read the books are way to similar. Hell they even end up with the same magic power....

Took forever to read this longwinded no substance rag. I kept hoping it would get better. It didn't. Save your money and the time it takes to force any sense out of this story. For pity's sake it took chapters to get thru the first 12 hours of establishing they were sex craved, magical whatever...I still don't know that answer. I'd love a refund, too bad I can't get back the WASTED TIME!!! And the ending....OMG! What a mess, pregnant?Half witch half Mage or is it mageheld F buddy? Take up another hobby cause writing is not your thing.

A very very long read. Too ling between the highs and the lulls. I liked the ending, but wished they would have focused more on the main relationship afterwards.

This is the most wordy, long winded book ever! Boring and slow read. I never finished the book.
