    One size does not fit all as one diet doesn't either. This book's recommendations worked for me to some extent and helped me lose 9 lbs in two months, but then I hit a plateau. At least I didn't regain the weight.

    Started the eight hour diet 12 weeks ago. Did not watch what I ate, and just walked a few days a week. Started at 210 LBS, and now after 12 weeks 195 LBS. By the way, I'm 61 years old. To me this is the best eating plan I have ever seen. No counting calories, no denial of certain food groups. That being said, I believe The DQ is calling my name.

    Very easy to follow. Do not have to count point, calories or track food. Most diets all i could think about is what i can not have. This one I set an alarm and I have what ever I want till it goes off. Family could not believe I have lost about 5 pounds in two weeks. Have not added the 8 min workouts yet. Feel better clothes fit better. Goal is to do it every day.

    This is an excellent diet book that focuses on losing weight through eating at certain times of the day and fasting for the rest of the day. The authors lead readers down a path of explaining how the diet works and the results; decreased incidence of disease and increased longevity. Success can be achieved by following the diet only a part of the week and allows for "cheating," during social situations. Easy and delicious recipes are provided in later chapters to help people achieve their weight loss goals.

    This book is amazing and it takes the stress one feels mentally from dieting and makes eating enjoyable again!!! Love how easy it is and that it is something you can follow long term. Highly recommend!!!!!!

    I've followed this diet exactly as described and ended up GAINING 6 pounds. Don't be a fool like me by buying this book. Save your money. You've been warned. Too bad I can't give 0 star rating.

    The way this diet is presented, it ignores a basic truth. Calories in, calories out. I did not go crazy, but ate what I wanted to and strictly followed the fasting and exercise guidelines. as a result I wound up gaining, not losing weight. This is not a serious book.
