    The worst diet book ever, food was unpalatable. And I am a very good cook with 40yrs experience home and pro. The cost of ingredients was way out of the average persons food budget. Does not even rate one star.
  • Even for a Picky Eater, this Will Work!

    I am a VERY picky eater! If it doesn't taste good, I am not going to make myself learn to like it! And I don't care how healthy it is for you, if it is not tasty it will not be on my plate! I do not eat bananas, turkey sausage/bacon, squash, soba noodles, quinoa, freeze dried fruit, raw kale or kale chips, smoothies of any kind, whole wheat pasta, almond or soy or any of those milk substitutes, beans of any kind, tofu anything, chia seeds, cottage cheese - I think you get the picture. So I wasn't at all sure when I looked at the recipes; but I was determined and went through each one, picked out the ones I could use as-is and those I could modify, such as chicken wrapped in bacon with real bacon, just one slice instead of two slices of turkey bacon, with broccoli instead of rutabaga mash because I am not eating a rutabaga under any circumstances etc., crossed out the ones there was no chance of my ever eating, and I got started. Five days later and I am down four pounds! Halfway through week two, I am already down another two pounds! It is work - I have to remember to eat ever three hours and sometimes I am still full from the last thing I ate when it is time to eat again - but it is working, and I am going to keep at it until I hit my goal!

    This book is soo complicated! It promised easy receipes and cooking for the person that doesn't really cook. What happened? This not easy to follow with foods i never heard of or find...bad

    I have read this book and have made a list of the foods I will need for the first week of recipes. I believe it will work, but the list is extensive and will be expensive. There are some recipes that require ingredients that I have never heard of and may not be available in my area. I will have to go to a specialty food store in another area to obtain them. This is a diet that will require tons of preparation and not be convenient. I will try this diet, but not sure I will be able to sustain week in and week out the lists of foods I will have to purchase and prepare. I work two jobs and I was hoping it would be easier and one that I could honestly live with for years to come. I am skeptical right now, but will write another review after my first month.
